Meet Soror Leslie Spicer Williams!

A proud native of Albion, Michigan, Leslie is a shining example of sisterhood, service, and Wolverine excellence. She’s a 1986 graduate of Albion High School and was honored as a member of its 2005 Distinguished Alumni Class. Leslie went on to earn her degree from the University of Michigan in 1990, where she made her mark as a student-athlete and record-holding member of the women’s basketball team — including being part of the first-ever U-M team to make the NCAA Tournament! (Yes, that’s her photo hanging in the Crisler Center!)

Leslie continues to break barriers and serve her community with heart. She was recently re-appointed to the University of Michigan’s Advisory Board on Intercollegiate Athletics, serving through 2027.

An active and passionate member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Leslie serves as a Regional Trainer and has held several leadership roles in the Ann Arbor Alumnae Chapter, including 2nd Vice President, Chair of Membership & Reclamation, and Chair of Financial Fortitude.

Her impact extends far beyond Delta! She’s Vice President of the Great Lakes (MI) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, and serves on multiple boards — including the African-American Endowment Fund and Opportunity Tennis Academy. She’s also the founder of Wildcat Wisdom Center for Excellence, a nonprofit uplifting her hometown, and the creative force behind the Wildcat Wisdom Zoom Series celebrating Black History Month.

After 26 years as a basketball coach at the AAU, high school, and collegiate levels, Leslie now brings her winning spirit to Ford Motor Company as a Talent Acquisition Manager.

She shares life’s journey with her husband Glen, and they are the proud parents of two: daughter Cydney, a Delta legacy and U-M Dearborn graduate, and son Jayden, a graduate of Madonna University, musical artist, and branding specialist.

Leslie Williams is a devoted soror with a servant’s heart — always striving to uplift others and lead with humility and grace.
